Also known as a raft or pad foundation, it is an alternative to the bored pile / pier foundation. This type of foundation is mainly used where there is a high water table or large rock beds that prevent the auger from boring the cylindrical foundation.

Each slab foundation arrangement comes complete with an engineering design, reinforcing steel, concrete spacer blocks and tie wire to tie the arrangement together. These items come in a kit form and will need to be assembled on site by the installer. They are also supplied with a Holding Down Bolt assembly.
